The
Billboard is Karekare's local newsletter, it is delivered locally to all
Karekare houses (with a letterbox) up to 6 times a year. The Karekare Billboard is a volunteer community
project which aims to help communicate local news, gossip and notices
of upcoming events. Written announcements are free for all local Karekare
residents and ratepayers in the local announcement column (lefthand column
on inside of cover).
Advertising: It saves us money to use
local businesses out here on Aucklands west coast, so we encourage
advertisements for local services and goods that are useful for our community
- they are available at very reasonable rates. A small fee is required
please contact us for further information.
Delivery: Delivery is usually in the
first week of the month, and on-line soon after. If you are a local resident
or ratepayer and would prefer this newsletter to be sent to another address,
please send 11 stamped self-addressed envelopes to the KKRRT address below.
Deadline: Is the 25th at the end of the
month before the next issue. Please send articles, contributions and/or
advertisement text material & illustrations via email if possible
to billboard@karekare.org.nz.
Please keep files smaller than 2 megabytes. Or address via the Karekare
Residents and Ratepayers Trusts address: P.O. Box 80, Piha 0646, Waitakere City.
Back issues: Here you can find the latest
edition of The Billboard online, in PDF format. You will need a PDF viewer to read the files (Foxit Reader,
Adobe Reader,
Okular, etc).
